BTS’ most recent tune, “Film Out” has topped the current week’s new music survey.
Music fans casted a ballot in a survey distributed Friday (April 2) on Billboard, picking the K-pop kid band’s new melody as their number one new music arrival of the previous week.
“Film Out” acquired 78% of the vote, prevailing over new music by Olivia Rodrigo (“Deja Vu”), Demi Lovato (Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over), Garbage (“The Men Who Rule the World”), Ozuna highlighting Ovi (“Envidioso”), and others.
“Film Out” was composed with J-pop band Back Number and shows up as the ending topic in the new Japanese film Signal: Long-Term Unsolved Case Investigation Team.
“We were attracted to the excellent song when we initially got the demo from [Iyori Shimizu],” BTS said in a news release. “It’s a song with a piercing tune and verses, and we’re certain it has the ability to contact numerous individuals’ hearts.”
“Film Out” will be remembered for the septet’s next Japanese-language collection, BTS, The Best, which is planned for discharge on June 16.
Putting second on the previous week’s count with almost 10% of the vote was Rodrigo’s amazing new melody, “This feels familiar.” On the track, she resolves to post-separation wholeheartedly, sticking in expressive subtleties and vocal twists effortlessly of a characteristic pop star.
“This feels familiar” follows the pop artist’s runaway hit single “Drivers License,” which ruled the Billboard Hot 100 for about two months sooner this year. It keeps on driving 2021 as the year’s most streamed tune internationally.
Rodrigo’s introduction collection, OR, is expected May 21.
